Exelon
Corporation is one of the nation's largest electric

Oyster
Creek is located in Lacey Township, Ocean County, near

The Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is an independent
regulatory agency within the Department of Energy that regulates
the transmission and sale for resale of natural gas in interstate
commerce; regulates the transmission of oil by pipeline
in interstate commerce; regulates the transmission and wholesale
sales of electricity in interstate commerce; licenses and
inspects private, municipal and state hydroelectric projects;
oversees related environmental matters and administers accounting
and financial reporting regulations and conducts of jurisdictional
companies.

For over two decades, the Yucca
Mountain Project has conducted an extensive scientific
effort to determine whether Yucca Mountain, Nevada is a
suitable site for a deep underground facility called a repository.
The purpose of a repository is to safely isolate highly
radioactive nuclear waste for at least 10,000 years.
Edison Electric
Institute (EEI) is the association of United States
shareholder-owned electric companies, international affiliates,
and industry associates worldwide. Our U.S. members serve
97 percent of the ultimate customers in the shareholder
owned segment of the industry, and 71 percent of all electric
utility ultimate customers in the nation. They generate
almost 60 percent of the electricity produced by U.S. electric
generators.

Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) unites all
nuclear electricity operators in the world. It facilitates
the exchange of operating experience, so that its members

organization that seeks to promote the peaceful worldwide

The PJM
Interconnection plays a vital role in the U.S. electric
system. As a regional transmission organization (RTO), PJM:
Coordinates the movement of electricity through all or parts
of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia,
West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
